Today I wanted to share two announcements relating to different projects, etc
One
involves a holiday sale I am participating in, and the other the
ongoing fundraising/art selling efforts of my daughter, Alicia.
The art sale is called the Cool Craft Market (CCM). I am very excited, and hope it will be bigger and better than any
other year. Handmade in America, an organization that I belong to, is
hosting it, and this year I am participating for the first time. I will have some of the quilts that I have made and some items donated by my daughter, whose artwork can be seen here. A percentage of the sales will go towards my son's fundraiser. He and his wife are in the process of adopting a child from Ukraine. You can see their blog and obtain more information here.
The
event is held the weekend of December 12th, in downtown Asheville, at 125 So. Lexington Ave. So,
if anybody in the area is interested, please stop by! We will be
waiting.

Secondly, I wanted to put in a plug for my daughter's Etsy arts and
crafts store. Selling everything from the amazing wood pieces she
co-creates with her husband, to tarot readings and custom charcoal
drawings, there will be something there for everybody. She is also donating a percentage of sales towards her brother's fundraiser to adopt a Ukrainian child.
